Lion and Lambs

My poor pathetic puppy is under the knife. I’m trying to concentrate on work while someone is cutting on my baby. I understand it was my choice to have her spayed, and I believe it is a very good idea to do for pets. While she is down, I am having her AVID microchipped, and rabies vaccinated, and just for good measure I told them to throw in a pawdicure to make her feel better.

Do you know that they charge extra for pain medicine and it is optional ??!?! No option for my pathetic princess. Can you imagine having your abdomen opened and then someone telling you pain medicine is optional?? It is kind of like doctors believing babies don’t need pain control because they can’t tell you they are hurting. Let’s call it Brain Control!!

My angel at puppy sleepaway camp…again. I think we need to start calling it Timesharing Puppy. Anyway, not only is she enjoying a float in the pool, she has her own life preserver in case she forgets how to puppy paddle.

In a continuing series, this is Tootsie with my friend. Mind you, when I am at my friend’s house, Tootsie will not normally let anyone but me hold her for fear that I will leave without her. Well, the other night after being at puppy sleepaway camp for a few nights, Tootsie left a little gift on my friend’s bedroom floor. When I scolded Tootsie she hightailed it into the other room and jumped up in my friends’ arms. I call this one, “Well SHE loves me!”

Even puppies can be helpful, like climbing in the ‘to be shredded basket’ and shredding the papers for us.

Now if the pieces didn’t go flying everywhere….

Renamed Tootsie Pop, which I think is cuter, because apparently she pops around a lot

I can’t wait to see her chocolate fur in person and get doggie nuzzles.
